The Mobil logo history is marked by the introduction of the iconic red Pegasus in 1931, symbolizing speed and mobility. The emblem underwent minor typography changes in the 1960s. Following the 1999 merger with Exxon to form ExxonMobil, the Pegasus was gradually phased out, but it remains a nostalgic symbol of Mobil's rich heritage in the petroleum industry.
