The Zero Hour Bomb Company started initially making time bombs. They were primarily used in the oil industry to fracture oil well formations—designed to be dropped down a well to break apart rocks and un-tap the crude below. After WW2 the company then shifted to manufactured fishing reels, specifically the Zebco 33, which revolutionized fishing by introducing a user-friendly, push-button casting system.
