John Player Special (JPS) is a renowned livery associated with Team Lotus in Formula 1 during the late 1960s to the mid-1980s. Sponsored by the British tobacco company John Player & Sons, the JPS livery featured a distinctive black and gold color scheme that became iconic in the world of motorsports. The minimalist yet elegant design adorned successful Lotus cars driven by racing legends like Emerson Fittipaldi, Ronnie Peterson, Mario Andretti, and Ayrton Senna.
